My account was deleted, today or yesterday. Must be either a Friday the 13th thing or Orkut’s way of saying “Happy Valentine’s Day”. All that effort… An independent source confirms that the communities I created are still there, so that’s interesting. Still pondering whether I want to go back.

Lots of accounts have been deleted — I’d assume, accidentally — in the past three days. So I wouldn’t take it personally.

That remains to be seen. I am told that a group of trolls was also deleted, and I can imagine that through judicious use of “report bogus user” such a thing could occur non-accidentally. But I’ll post when I find out more.
